Michigan Bans Employers from Demanding Facebook Passwords

The increasing use of social media for both personal and business use has led some employers to demand Facebook passwords from job applicants.  On December 28, 2012, Governor Snyder signed into law the Internet Privacy Protection Act prohibiting this practice.
